You’ll Never Know Until You Try

Don’t let fear or insecurity stop you from trying new things. Believe in yourself. Do what you love. And most importantly, be kind to others, even if you don’t like them.

Bootstrapping; not a term you hear every day but one that is loaded with feel-good overtones.  The term comes from early 19th century America when it referred to people doing the impossible, like pulling themselves up by the straps of their boots, when we think of that we realize that it is something difficult to do if not impossible.

Today the term is often used to describe a business that was started without help from any outside source, something that the owner started all by him or herself.

What are you working on today?  Are you paralyzed by the mere idea that no one is there to hand you a safety line?  There are many a story of people, just like you, who have made great things happen all by themselves.  Be it within the company that they work for, their community, or their own business. Don’t let going it alone be a deterrent to your success because you’ll never know until you try.
